The Wonders of Physics 41st Annual Show

The annual show filled with demonstrations that help people better understand the physics in the world around them, while having fun at the same time!

The Wonders of Physics annual show is dedicated to fast-paced, engaging, and educational demonstrations that help people better understand the physics in the world around them, while having fun at the same time!

This year, the theme of the 41st annual show was “TH3 PHYS1C5 of NUMB3R5” where we honored the 175th anniversary of UW-Madison and tried to discover what the most “important” number in the galaxy was (spoiler alert: it’s practically all of them!).

My team (pictured above) conducted experiments that showed how radiation can be detected, how pendulums swing, how lasers can pop balloons, how energetic Alka-Seltzer rockets can be, and how fun it is to dance on a non-Newtonian fluid!

The official YouTube video showcasing the whole program is due soon, so stay tuned!
